Join us for a chance to photograph the Coffee Flats Schoolhouse during a magical time as
we greet a new day. The September sun rises from behind the Angostura Mountains bathing
the Coffee Flats Schoolhouse, the prairie grasses and the school paddock in a soft blue
light before transforming into shimmering orange glow.

George Wilson will share his pro-tips for the elements of design, composition, exposing and
capturing on camera both the feel and warmth of the South Dakota sunrise. For the more
advanced photographer, we will discuss elements of design and advanced exposure
techniques to improve your photographs.
Participants should have a good working knowledge of their camera – especially the manual
mode of operation.
